Mentor Program

The MMEA Mentor Program's goal is to build a community of Teachers Helping Teachers.  We can all gain information from others, no matter how many years of experience we've had!  We have monthly Zoom meetings (relatively the last Tuesday of the month from 6-7pm) that foster an environment of celebrating our Roses and getting advice for our Thorns.  We also talk about time relevant matters (i.e. beginning of the year, festival, etc).  These meetings have been attended by folks in their first 5 years of teaching to folks in their 20th!  

 

If anyone is looking to connect with a more seasoned teacher on a specific topic, they may fill out this SURVEY and Jennifer will do her best to get you connected with the right person!  

 

The Mentor program aims to pair new Montana music educators with experienced teachers.  If you are interested in one on one work with a mentor  - observing another teacher or being observed for feedback - please email Jennifer Kirby directly: mtmentorcentral@gmail.com
